Shahin Ghobadi, DMD, is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Ghobadi Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He brings more than 15 years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, implants, grafting, and sedation dentistry to patients in Mamaroneck, New York, and throughout Westchester County. 

Dr. Ghobadi began his professional education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. During his final year in the program, Dr. Ghobadi received the Dental Implant Student Award from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Predoctoral Achievement Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. 

After graduation, Dr. Ghobadi completed a residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Ghobadi excelled in the program, earning the title of chief resident for one year.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Ghobadi went on a medical mission to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, providing volunteer dental services to those in need. After returning to the states, he received an award from MIS Implants for recognition and contribution to the field of implant dentistry. 

Dr. Ghobadi is a proud member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Association. He loves spending one-on-one time with his patients and catering treatment to their unique needs and concerns. This attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed, either.
